A city in the Jezreel Valley in northern Israel where King Ahab had his second palace. Ahab and Jezebel had Naboth killed here to steal his vineyard — an act Elijah confronted them about. The valley below is the site of numerous biblical battles and is where the final battle (Armageddon) of Revelation is set.
